Niall Ferguson, intellectuel «rock star» et dissident transatlantique
Le Britannique Niall Ferguson est un historien capable de manier les théories et les techniques quantitatives de la science économique. Enseignant heureux à Oxford, NYU et chercheur à Stanford, il est un spécialiste reconnu et un vulgarisateur forcené.
Il avait écrit dans Vanity Fair, en octobre 2006, un article sur le déclin de l’Occident : Empire Falls.
